Joyce Brown

Joyce Brown 1933- 2025 Joyce Brown, of Laramie, Wyoming died November 23, 2025, in Laramie, Wyoming, surrounded by family and friends. Her tenacious energy, creativity and sense of humor inspired her children, grandchildren and community.

She was born on August 27, 1933, to Regna and Charles Pennock.

February 8, 1958, she married James (Jim) W. Brown. They had three children Amy (Brown), Welsh, Amber Brown and Charles Brown.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Judy (Pennock) Keyser; her children, Amy (Brown) Welsh, Amber Brown, and Charles Brown; her grandchildren, Rachel Welsh, Jacqueline Welsh, Margaret Welsh, Brigitte Brown, and Sterling Brown; and her great-grandchildren, Lucia Erickson and Beau Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Regna Pennock, spouse; James Brown, siblings; Dan Pennock, Alvin Pennock, and grandchild Louise Welsh.

Funeral services will be November 29, 2025, at 10am at St. Matthew's Cathedral, Laramie, WY, Reverend Jordan Bishop officiating.
