Joyce was a sweet, good, caring, loving person. She had a big heart. She took me & my family in as her own. ( family ). Her home was home. She was a down to earth person & a true Madea- She told you like it was, no matter what. We are Thankful, Grateful, & Proud to have had her as a Mama & Nana. We will cherish the memories. You will be truly missed. We love you.

She told me and my fiancé that she would make sure her great grandchildren would get home and will always be safe in her home and heart, she loved so many people and made so many memories with so many wonderful people. we love and miss you nanny.

Meeting her and Robert for the first time when I was 15 or 16 bc I was dating there son Robbie Carlile and my sister was with her grandson Keven sparks she was the most sweetest woman that I had the pleasure of getting to meet. She loved me the minute she met me and made me feel like I was at home all the time I went to her house. She always had a smile on her face and loved her kids and grandkids with all her heart. I will never for get her smile and good it felt just to be in her presence. Rest easy in gods hands Joyce we all can´t want to see u again on the other side.

I remember when I moved her she treated me like I was one of own so sweet she loved her grandchildren very much and her son is a great person you will be missed so much
