Joyce E. Dervan, 73, of Albany, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in Hudson, FL.The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors with interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Pollock and Bobby Marshall will officiate.A native of Sylvester, Mrs. Dervan lived in Albany for most of her life. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Dervan was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie William Dervan.Mrs. Dervan is survived by three sons, Jimmie William Dervan, Jr., Christopher Stuart Dervan, and Basil Courtney Dervan, all of Albany; three grandchildren, Brittany Dervan, Darren George, and Christopher Stuart Dervan, II; a sister, Varee Oshaughnessy, of Hudson, FL.The family will receive friends Friday from 5 PM until 7 PM at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors.Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Children's Miracle Network, at www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org/donate.php.
