Joyce Elaine Ehrich passed away Wednesday, November 1, in her home.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Joyce was born on July 6, 1948 in
Buffalo Center, IA to Willard and Dorothy (Miller) Dearing. She had many stories of growing up on the farm with her brother and sister located between Rake and
Buffalo Center, IA.
Joyce worked at Fleetguard and later moved to Nebraska. She owned and operated Pawnee Laundromat before attending Southwest Community College to obtain a commercial driver's license. Owning and operating a semi-truck provided an endless amount entertaining stories about her over the road adventures.
After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her horses and mules, traveling in her RV, and visiting friends and family. She also loved spending time with her beloved Yorkies, Bailey and Brelee, whom never left her side.
Joyce loved deeply and her greatest pride and joy were her nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be missed.
Joyce is survived by sister-in-law, Ginger (Ronald) Dearing, brother-in-law, Bob (Jolene) Johnson, brother-in-law, Russell (Nancy) Muller, sisters -in-law, Kandy Laska, Debra Muller, Patricia (Rod) Muller, nieces, nephews, cousins and many family members and friends in Iowa and Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her life partner and best friend, Brenda Muller, parents, Willard and Dorothy Dearing, brother, Ron Dearing, sister, Jolene Johnson, and in-laws, Earl Muller, Kathryn Muller, Rod Muller, Kevin Muller, Kim Muller, and Sharon Mohrmann.
