Joyce M. Faller

Joyce M. Faller, 92, of Kansas City, MO, passed away March 15, 2014, at New Mark Care Center, Kansas City MO. Joyce was born in Sioux City Iowa to Albert and Iness Stewart Faller. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Stewart A. Faller; a brother, William; and 2 nephews, Scott and Lawrence Faller. Joyce graduated high school in Oklahoma City and attended Park University. She was a member of Gashland Presbyterian Church. Joyce was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone retiring with forty years of service as Manager of Human Resources. While working for Southwestern Bell, she lived in Memphis, Miami, St. Louis, and Kansas City. Joyce loved her Bichon Frise companion dogs that she rescued, Buttons and B.B. Her love of travel took her to Europe twice, Turkey, China, a cruise through the Panama Canal, Alaska, Canada, and the San Francisco area. Joyce will be greatly missed by our family. She was a dear friend to Bill and Mary Lou and their daughters, Laurie and Janice, for many years. We deeply appreciate the loving care Joyce received from New Mark Care Center and Crossroads Hospice. Memorial services will be 3 pm, Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at White Chapel Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. A private burial will be in Sioux City, Iowa.
