Mrs. Joyce Flanary, 65 of Kingsport, TN, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN, following several months of declining health
Mrs. Flanary was born in Gordon County, Georgia, on September 10, 1960, the daughter of the late James "Jim" Wilson and Mary Bowen Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, Travis, and Frank Wilson, and one sister, Marcelle Thompson. Joyce had lived in Tennessee for almost 40 years, but Gordon County was her home at heart.
Survivors include one daughter, Jimmie Neeley; three sons, William Beasley, Bobby Beasley, and Michael Ellis; two sisters, Linda Faye Thompson and Nancy Rececca England. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
The funeral service for Joyce Flanary will be conducted on Thursday, November 13th, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Frankie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Wilsom Family and Friends Cemetery, 2776 Highway 411 NE, Ranger, Georgia.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 13th, beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
