We the of 1965 were introduced to The School Teacher Miss. Lake by The Principal C.I Benniefield. The Class at Gough Jr High School became history.. 1965
which introducing Miss Joyce Jean Lake as Educator/Teacher to Burke County School System extended over and in part 4 to 5 decades. Miss Lake(Mrs. Joyce Herrington) love and caring extended Way beyond the classroom... She impacted self conscious and confidence to all her students and those whom pass byer...."" In the hall/ watch Her as coach"" .. family and grandma was and carried Herself as True Lady and Beautiful person..... she still lives caring and kindness never fade in love thank you Miss Lake:
