Joyce Lynn Johnson, 79, of Ashland, OH, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Riverside Hospital, in Columbus, OH.

Joyce was born on January 6, 1946, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to John Thomas Kauffman and Phyllis Jean{Shuman} Neibert. She married Westley Kidwell April 10, 1964 (who passed away September 14th, 2017). She married Dave Johnson (who passed away about twelve years ago) on November 30, 1985.

She loved to tease her son-in-law Ray. She loved to work in her flower beds. She was canning all the time, beans, tomatoes, beets, coprn. Joyce lived in Loudonville for her whole life until just the past few years.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her children Kathy (Ray – deceased) Edwards, Gayle Campbell, Jeremy Kidwell, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, cousins; brother Ed (Violet) Kauffman and her sister Carolyn (Brian) Hoagland. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Tracey Bailey, brother Chuck Kauffman and sister Diane Maxwell.
