Joyce Edmondson Johnson, of Lilburn, GA, line danced her way into the heavens on January 18, 2026, at the spry age of 88, leaving behind a trail of laughter and love.

Survived by her husband of 68 years, Cleveland Johnson; son, Reed Johnson; daughter, Lindy Fain; grandson, Jacob Fain; daughter, Allison Skillen (Alan); granddaughter, Elisabeth Gaines (Jarred); great-granddaughters, Reagan and Addison; grandson, AJ Johnson (Harmony); great-grandchildren, Riley and Justin, Evander and Cove; grandson, Eddie (Jennifer); sister, Janet Dingler; brothers, Ray Westmorel and Donald Edmondson.

Preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Westmoreland Edmondson; father, Harrell Westmoreland; brothers, Gene Edmondson and David Edmondson; grandson, Michael Jones.

Joyce enjoyed line dancing with her friends, planting in her garden, and most of all she LOVED being Mawmaw to her grandbabies, great-grandbabies and great-great-grandbabies.

As the curtain falls on Joyce's extraordinary life, we are reminded of the joy she brought into this world. She was a woman who lived life to the fullest, with a twinkle in her eye and a joke at the ready. Joyce may have taken her final bow, but the echoes of her laughter will resonate forever in the hearts of all who knew her. And somewhere up there, we're sure she's planting a celestial garden and teaching the angels the Boot Scootin' Boogie. Rest in peace, Mawmaw, we will always love and remember you.

Services will be held at Hebron Baptist Church, 202 Hebron Church Rd., Dacula, GA 30019, on Thursday, January 29, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel. Please join us as we celebrate the life of our beloved Joyce.
