Joyce Taylor Jones

North Augusta, SC – Memorial Services for Joyce Taylor Jones, 96, who entered into rest April 11, 2024, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel, Father David Thompson officiating. Private interment will take place in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Jones was born February 3, 1928, in London, England to the late John and Frances Taylor. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States on May 2, 1953, in Charleston, SC and moved to North Augusta shortly after, where she and her husband settled and raised their family. Mrs. Jones was a permanent fixture during lunchtime at People's Drugstore. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, going to the beach and traveling back to England. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Jones; sister, Vera Zumwinkle.
Survivors include her daughter, Frances Lee Jones; son, Keith Jones; granddaughter, Sharon Bazemore (Jeff); sister, Violet Zumwinkle.
