Joyce E. Lang

Joyce E. (Peeters) Lang, age 82, of Appleton, Wisconsin, died on July 25, 2021.

Joyce was born on April 23, 1939 to the late Chester and Amanda (Roth) Peters in Winona, Minnesota. Her family then moved to WI, where Joyce graduated from Menasha High School in 1957. On August 20, 1960, Joyce was united in marriage to Teddy Lang. She was a dental assistant for a few years and then became a homemaker.

In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed decorating the many houses she and Ted lived in, making hand-formed bathroom enclosure tiles and statues in her kiln, sewing dresses and pieces of clothing (including making Ted a suit!) and spending time with her several dogs over the years. In addition, she loved visits to their cottage in Northern Wisconsin near Goodman.

Joyce will be greatly missed by her husband of 60 years, Teddy; twin sister, Grace (Jerry) Rohde; sister, Mary Babino; 2 nieces (who were very close to her), Kris Moderson and Pam Harder; numerous other dear family, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her siblings, Larry, Audrey, Shirley, Marge and Janet.

A private graveside service and inurnment will be held for Joyce at a later date.
