Joyce Lanzendorf, 89, of Stanton, formerly of
Grand Island, Nebraska, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at the Accura Health Care in Stanton.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Calvary Chapel Church in
Clarinda, Iowa with Pastor Greg Young officiating. No visitation is scheduled.

Joyce Arlene (Pellan) Lanzendorf, daughter of Emil Pellan and Genevieve (Snelling) Pellan, was born on August 19, 1934, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was educated in the Mead Community Schools in
Mead, Nebraska and graduated with the class of 1952. She then furthered her education attending Secretarial School in
Omaha, Nebraska.
Joyce was united in marriage to Donald John Lanzendorf on June of 1954 in
Mead, Nebraska. This union was blessed with eight children, John, Barb, Robert, George, Mary, Theresa, Jennifer and Paul. They lived in Grand Island where Joyce worked at the Country Kitchen for nearly 20 years. They later moved to Central City.
Joyce took much pride in caring for her children. She loved her Lord and her family immensely. While living in Grand Island, she was active with the Evangelical Weslyan Church.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don in 2017, brother Ron Pellan, grandson Jacob Tyler Woodall and nephew Craig Casey.
Surviving Joyce are her eight children, John Lanzendorf, Barb Stutzman, Robert Lanzendorf, George Lanzendorf, Mary Nissley, Theresa Little, Jennifer Woodall and Paul Lanzendorf; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn Lownes, Dianne (Gary) Mahrt, Jeanne Kavan, Margie Sawtelle and Mary (Ray) Casey; brother Dave (Lori) Pellan; sister-in-law Anita Pellan; along with other extended relatives and friends.
