In Loving Memory Joyce Lorine Gordon Lee March 30, 1925 - January 16, 2026

Joyce Lee passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026 in Colville, Washington at the age of 100.

Joyce was born and raised on a farm in Thorp, Washington. After graduating from Thorp High School, she attended and then graduated from Washington State College - now Washington State University - in 1947. While at WSC she met Donald A. Lee. The couple married, June 21, 1947. Over the years they welcomed three children, Judy, Donna and Mick.

Mrs. Lee was a beloved teacher. In her fifty plus years as an educator she taught first grade, Kindergarten, fourth grade and adult classes. She taught on the Long Beach Peninsula and Snoqualmie Valley.

Always the optimist and ready for any and all new adventures, Joyce traveled extensively. She was active in many organizations including Mentor Club, Daughters of Norway, Delta Kappa Gamma, Modern Travelers, American Association of University Women, Bridge Clubs, Birthday Clubs and the Snoqualmie Methodist Church.

Joyce will be remembered for being a warm, friendly, kind, open minded, compassionate, quick to smile, curious, inspiring and genuine lady. A conversation with her left you feeing valued, heard and loved.

Joyce is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her husband, Don Lee predeceased her in 1967.

There will be a private interment at a later date.
