Joyce Legg Obituary
Mrs. Legg died on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born September 16, 1935, in Morgan County, to Jethro Buford Teague and Niecie Malone Chenault Teague.
Joyce was employed by Calhoun Community College, by Electrolux, and was an Avon Lady, prior to her passing. She was a member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church for over 70 years and held several leadership roles in United Methodist Women, MYF and the Church Board. She served and supported her children in their extracurricular and school activities. She was a 1953 graduate of Morgan County High School.
Preceding her in death were former husband- Raymond Brown, husband - Julis Legg, her parents and special friend- Medford Long.

Five Grandchildren -
Brian Hayes (Emily), Elizabeth Lamar (Jeff), Emily Trahan (Eric),
Erin Smith (Shawn) and Laura Martin (Seth)
Seven Great Grandchildren -
Holden Hayes, Minor Lamar, Asher Lamar,
Kyra Trahan, Margot Trahan, Harper Smith
and Tucker Martin.
Pallbearers will be Brian Hayes, Jeff Lamar, Minor Lamar, Eric Trahan, Shawn Smith and Seth Martin.
