Joyce B. Lendley

Joyce B. Lendley of Tullahoma passed away on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 84. Joyce was born in Tullahoma to the late Odis Allen and Willie Alma Foster Brown. She worked for many years as a seamstress for Ray's alterations. After the closing of Ray's, she started Lendley's alterations. Joyce was also a member of Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, who will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lendley; three brothers, Billy, Eddie, and Danny Brown; and three sisters, Oma Jean Crabtree, Jeri Shelton, and Patsy Hartley. Joyce is survived by one son, Allen (Jill) Lendley; additional children, Stephanie (Rodger) Martin and Jason (Sonya) Brown; grandchildren, Ashely (Brent) Carlton, Cody (Cassie) Lendley, Ellie Lendley, Austin Brown, Dalton (Heather) Brown, and Jordan Martin; and great-grandchildren, Brenley, Brooklyn, and Briley Carlton, Arabella, Elias, and Gideon Lendley, Ella Mae and Gibson Brown, and Isaac Brown. Visitation for Mrs. Lendley will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 from 11:00am – 1:30pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel at 1:30pm with Tim McGehee and Mike Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
