Joyce Marsh

Joyce Marsh, age 71, of Olena and formerly of New London, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at her home. She was born October 1, 1937 in Berea. Joyce lived in the New London area most of her life and most recently of Olena. She graduated from New London High School in 1955. Joyce worked for New London Schools, was a former New London Village Clerk, Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, and Kaiser Wells Home Health Care, Norwalk. Joyce also worked for Advanced Neurological Assoc., Bellevue, and was a former EMT for Firelands Ambulance Service. She enjoyed making crafts and spending time with her cat, Hershey. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce is survived by 2 daughters, Deb (Dale) DeForest of Norwalk, Gayle (David) Harlan of New London; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; her mother, Emmagene (Frost) Jackson of Norwalk; her brother, Don (Jane) Jackson of New London; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lewis 'Bud' Marsh and her father, Samuel F. Jackson. Friends and family may call from 2'4 and 6'8 p.m. Thursday, January 22nd at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London where a memorial funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Dan Ux officiating.
