Joyce Renae McGuire, of Independence, Kansas, entered into peaceful rest on February 15, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1946, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to T.J. Burch and Eutha Burch.
Joyce married Mickey Lee McGuire on June 24, 1978, in Santa Rosa, California. She was a homemaker and at-home tutor who devoted her life to caring for her family. Joyce was active in her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she touched many lives with her kindness and faith. She will be remembered as a loving wife and devoted mother whose gentle spirit brought comfort and love to those around her.
She is survived by her husband, Mickey Lee McGuire; her step-children, Jennifer Lynn McGuire and Marc Lee McGuire; and her daughter, Ahriella Allee McGuire; along with extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, T.J. Burch and Eutha Burch; her father-in-law, Clyde Monroe McGuire; her mother-in-law, Lorna Margaret McGuire; and her brother, Tommy.
Cremation services have been entrusted to the care of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory
