Joyce Dorinda McManus, 75, of
Atlantic City, New Jersey died at home on October 18, 2023. She was born to Ruth Theresa Austin on May 23, 1948.
Joyce married James McManus who predeceased her earlier this year on April 6, 2023.
She attended George Washington High School for college preparatory. After graduation from George Washington High School, Joyce went on to Hunter College where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She also attended Alliance Française to perfect her French language skills.
Joyce was a reservation agent at the Claridge Hotel for many years. She also worked for nearly twenty years for Caesars Entertainment in Atlantic City as a Total Rewards Coordinator, Special Events Representative and Games Clerk.
After leaving the casino industry, she became a caregiver for her mother; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Catherine McManus; and lastly, her husband.
Graveside funeral services will be 12:00PM, Friday, November 17, 2023, Holy Cross Cemetery, Harding Highway, Mays Landing, New Jersey.
