Joyce Morgan Obituary
Except for the last 3 years, Joyce was a lifelong resident of Whatcom County. She lived in her home on Medcalf Road for over 70 years and for most of her life kept a garden where she grew beautiful flowers and vegetables. She would submit her flowers to the Lynden Fair every year and would make flower arrangements every Sunday for church. Joyce was a member of the Lynden Nazarene Church (Now Crosspoint) for over 50 years.
Joyce married Jack Morgan on July 14, 1951, and was married to him for 73 years. They had 4 children together, Carol (Ken), David, Larry (Cathi) and Susan (Chauncey) and 12 grandchildren and a few great grandchildren. She also has numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Jack, and son David and infant son Steven. Also, her parents and siblings.
The family is honoring Joyce with Graveside Service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Ten Mile Cemetery followed by her 12 p.m. Memorial service at Gillies Funeral Home, Lynden.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
