Joyce Murray Obituary
Jesup, Ga.
Joyce Mosley Murray, 70, of Jesup, Ga., died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at her residence after an extended illness. The Wayne County, Ga., native and former resident of Decatur was a member of the Central Baptist Church and predeceased by her husband, Bernard "Pee Wee" Murray; parents, Cliff and Lois Mosley; and a brother: J. C. Mosley.
Survivors are a daughter, Denise Murray Montgomery of Jesup, Ga.; son, Gary Murray of Jesup, Ga.; two sisters, Mattie Driggers of Jesup, Ga., and Betty Madray of Odum, Ga.; a granddaughter, Brittany Montgomery of Jesup, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at the Rinehart & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Vann Dempsey and the Rev. Stanley Todd officiating. Burial will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Madray, Demont Rogers, Ronnie Mauldin, Steve Deaton, Bobby Hughes, Bud Collins and Lance Hill.
Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Hospice of South Georgia Building Fund, 117 Drennon Drive, Jesup, GA 31545.
The Rinehart & Sons funeral Home of Jesup, Ga., is in charge of the arrangements.
