Joyce Lynn Murray, 82, of Springdale, Arkansas, ascended peacefully in her home Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
She was born on April 16. 1943, in New York City, New York, the daughter of the late Lyn Murray and Florence (Baker) Murray.
Joyce devoted many years of her professional life to serving others as an occupational therapist, a role that reflected her compassionate spirit and desire to help those in need. She attended St. Raphael’s Catholic Church. Joyce held a deep love for God and found great peace and joy in nature. She loved the Earth and always knew it was God’s creation with all its beauty and power.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Joanna Murray; 4 grandchildren, Deandre, Deja, Marcus and Aaliyah; two great grandchildren, Ka’lijah and Arya; all of Northwest Arkansas.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ann Browning.
