Mrs. Joyce Elizabeth Nelson

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Joyce. I was on line today trying to locate Joyce to invite her to a birthday party for my mothers 80th Birthday and was so surprised to see that she had moved to heaven already. My Dad passed 7 years ago and I know how empty it is not to have them with us.

I wanted to say that I wanted to go to a Children's Revival at the First Baptist Church of Hurst after my mom found out about it from Joyce. She agreed to let me stay at her house and take me that evening while my mom was going to the airport to pick up my Dad. I received Christ as my Lord and Savior that night. I am so thankful that she made herself available to let me know of the Children's Revival with Jack Taylor and took her time to take me.

Blessings to Ricky and Cliff and your families. I hope this adds another memory of your mother . It was a life changing experience for me and I am so thankful. It would have been so great to see her again, but thankfully we will spend eternity together and I know I will see her once again.
