Joyce L. Nuneviller

Joyce L. Nuneviller (nee Rufe), age 94, passed peacefully, Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill, NJ. She was a long-time resident of West Deptford, NJ, and was retired from working as a Tax Assessor for West Deptford and Harrison Twp.

Joyce enjoyed being involved in various groups and had many interests. She was a member of the West Deptford Senior Citizens Club, loved going to the casino, adored her Shepard's Farm Community, was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and a long standing member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Thorofare. She loved Facebook, was a member of the National Park Boat Club, and a past Grand Regent of the Women of the Moose.

Joyce is survived by her children; Charles Gindle, Lynn Kinsley, Thomas (Jan Whitmore) Gindle, Donna (Ronald) Rachuba, Raymond Nuneviller Jr. (Jackie Dowling), and Kelly Nuneviller. Her grandchildren, Kerri Miller, Thomas Gindle, James Kinsley, Tammi Gindle, Catherine Ehrman, Deana Shultz, Danielle Moughan, Donna Rachuba, Aaron Kinsley, Rosina Teti, Renee Drzyzga, Rachel Rachuba, Diane Rachuba, Jacqueline Wilburn, Raymond Nuneviller, Taylor Nuneviller, Brooke Nuneviller; 33 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, Raymond V. Nuneviller, Sr., her parents, James and Florence (nee Parry) Rufe; brother, Don Smith; and sons-in-law, James Kinsley, and Mark Bock.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051 where a funeral service will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Woodbury Memorial Park in Woodbury, NJ.
