Joyce M. Pedler, 87, of Caseville, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Scheurer Health in Pigeon.
Joyce was born February 23, 1938 in Detroit to the late Glenn and Evelyn (Olinger) Johnson. She married Richard Pedler on October 2, 1954 at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Caseville. She was a member of Bay Port Community of Christ of Church where she taught Sunday School and active in Women’s Department. She was a professional cake decorator, loving mother and devoted wife. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and cooking, especially Swedish pancakes for her family.
Joyce is survived by her husband Richard: daughters Laurie (Timothy) Dewey of Midland and Carrie Pedler-Harbuck of Caseville; grandchildren Celeste (Brian) Diehl, Melissa (Brian Murdoch) Leach, Richard (Traci) Smith, Derek (Kahlia) Dewey, and Julia (Nate) Valley; great-grandchildren Nathan, Nicholas, Alexa, Hunter, Amethyst, and John; and sister Patricia (Tom) Davis of Shelby Twp. She was preceded in death by her brother Glenn Johnson, sister Peggy Roestel, daughter Julie Leach, and son-in-law Robert Harbuck.
There will be no services. Interment will be at Caseville Twp Cemetery at a later date.
