Joyce Hall “Pete” Pyle of Halifax passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024 at the age of 89. She was born in Halifax County on October 14, 1934 to the late John Edward Hall, Sr. and the late Florence Ingram Hall. She was married to the late Joseph Patrick Pyle.
Joyce was an active member of Beth Car Baptist Church. She retired as a legal secretary for James Edmunds after forty plus years of dedicated service. Joyce enjoyed tending to her flowers and she was an avid reader, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Beth Car with the Rev. Thad Decker officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday, one hour prior to the service at the church and at her home on Saturday, April 6 from 2:00 until 6:00 P.M.
