Joyce L. (Kemmerer) Shellhammer, 95, of Orefield, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospice (Inpatient), Allentown. She was the wife of the late Clare L. Shellhammer. Born in Allentown, July 18, 1929, Joyce was the daughter of the late Webster N. and Bertha L. (Engelman) Kemmerer. She was employed as a food service worker in the cafeteria at Parkland High School for 20 years before retiring. Joyce was a member of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, NewTripoli.
Survivors: Children, Daniel E. Shellhammer (Roseann Holota) of Florida, Dave E. Shellhammer and Donald A. Shellhammer both of Orefield, Darlene A. Peterson of Macungie; sister, Shirley “Dolly” Daubenspeck of Macungie; predeceased by a son, Dwayne L. Shellhammer.
Service: A private graveside service will be held at Lowhill Church Cemetery, New Tripoli. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
