Joyce Ann Sickles, 89, of Fayette City, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Born in Donora on July 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Alberta Miller.
A homemaker, Joyce was a member of Little Redstone Church. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pittsburgh Penguins fan.
She is survived by her sons, David (Rhonda) Sickles of Newell and Alan (Amy) Sickles of Glen Burnie, MD; daughter, Cheryl Ann (Marty) Muzar of Monessen; grandchildren, Wayne Brown, Shawn (Lisa) Brown, Brian (Amber) Brown, Kristy (Jeremiah) Gregory, David (Crystal) Sickles Jr. and Aleshia Sickles; great grandchildren, Logan, Shawna, Camden, Darren, Evie, Lainey, Ashton, Savannah, Tabitha, McKenna, Natalie, Kaitlyn, Luke and John; 1 great-great grandchild and special friend, Quentin Mulac; sister, Alberta Celaschi in Amherst, OH; and brother-in-law, George Sickles of Rostraver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer D. Sickles; daughters, LuAnn Sickles and Cindy Lou Gray; and sisters, Nancy Maxwell and Louise Moore.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jack Washabaugh officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
