Joyce DeLoach Stubbs, 95, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro, Georgia. 

Born in Tattnall County, Georgia, Joyce was the youngest of six children, born to Ossie and Katie Byrd Swindell DeLoach. Joyce was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family.  After being away, Joyce and her husband retired back to Glennville, Georgia. She was a member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church where she was a charter member of the Ladies Night Circle and a former choir member. 

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Theodore DeLoach, Prentice DeLoach, Phentrice DeLoach, Betty Daughtry, Allijean Stubbs, loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Henry Cliffton Stubbs, and a son, Paul Andrew Stubbs.

She is survived by, her four sons, Steve Stubbs (Renee) of Prosperity, South Carolina, Pratt Stubbs (Debbie) of Glennville, Georgia, Mark Stubbs (Pam) of Jasper, Georgia, Chris Stubbs (Ellen McCurry) of Garden City, Georgia. Five grandchildren, Laura Dinkov (Angelo), Lesa Stubbs, Seth Stubbs, Collin Stubbs, Katie Stubbs, one great granddaughter, A'Jaunie Stubbs, special nieces, Gloria Stubbs and Danna Durrence, sisters-in-law, Winnie Stubbs of Waynesboro, Virginia, Barbara Stubbs of Reidsville, Georgia and Sharon DeLoach of Moblie, Alabama. 

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
