Joyce F. Taylor

Joyce F. Taylor, 90, of Granite City, died at 12:25 p.m. Wed. Dec. 3, 2025 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

She was born Jan. 8, 1935 in Granite City to the late Guy and Bonnie (Westbrooke) Pasley.

On Feb. 19, 1951, she and Harold J. Taylor Sr. were married in Madison, IL. He survives.

Joyce worked the desk, did books and was a promoter for AMF Bowland Lanes in Granite City, retiring after 28 years. She attended Frist Baptist Church in Granite Cithy.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sherri Lynn (Davin) Guardiola of Glen Carbon, IL, 2 sons, Harold J. Taylor Jr. and Steven Andrew Taylor of Granite City, 7 grandchildren, Derek Guardiola, Amanda Taylor, Georgia Taylor, Daniel Marler, Chloe Bunch, Daniel Scott Robertson, and Lori Taylor, 8 great-grandchildren, Trinity Marler, Willow Marler, Jordon Anthony Guardiola, Mason Guardiola, Chase Hopkins, Jesse Hopkins, Finn Marler, and Mia Heberlein, and 2 sisters, Mary Nettle of MA, and Judith Buckingham of Granite City.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Ann Bunch, a son, Wesley Scott Taylor, 2 grandchildren, Christopher Taylor, and Wesley James Taylor, a daughter-in-law, Carla Taylor, and siblings, Leonard Pasley, Isaac Pasley,, Margaret Hollenbeck, Jessie Ashburn, Helen Love, Bonita Mayor, Macie Todaro, Shirley Wilson, Dorothy Smith, and Darlene Hillis.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tues. Dec. 9, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory where services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wed. Dec. 10, 2025 with Pastor Randy Vollmar officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Estates.
