Joyce Wallace Tyndall

On January 7, 2024 Joyce Wallace Tyndall passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.
The funeral service will be on January 11th at 7pm at Community Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends following. The burial will take place on January 12th at 11am at East Duplin Cemetery.
Joyce was born in Pike County, Kentucky in 1939. She graduated from high school in Elkhorn City, Kentucky. Later in life Joyce met Prentice Tyndall whom she married in 1989. Together they share 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Joyce was a Godly woman, who served the lord faithfully all of her years. She had an immense love for her children and grandchildren. Joyce will forever be remembered for her fabulous sense of style, her positive outlook on life and her ability to light up a room.
She is survived by her husband, Prentice Tyndall, of Pink Hill, NC, and their children, Billy Williams of Florida and Brenda Weaver (Roger) of Hope Mills, NC, Prentice Tyndall Jr. (Mary Beth) of Pink Hill, NC, and Natalie Guffey (Chad) of South Carolina.
She will forever be in the hearts of her grandchildren, Jamie Summerlin (Teague) Amanda Trogdon (fiancé James Pearce Jr.), Allison Trogdon, Alyse Rabe, Rachel Weaver, Geoff Weaver, Aaron Tyndall (Miranda), Noah Tyndall (Riley), Landon Guffey, and Zana Guffey. She loved them all to the moon and back.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Asher Summerlin, Charlie Summerlin, Daisy Tyndall and Stella Tyndall.
