Joyce Walton Obituary
Joyce is survived by her loving children, Roxanna (Bill) Brands, Brad (Laura) Ritter, and Crystal (Brady) Payne; her siblings, Sadie Linderer, Gerry Chapman, and Woodrow McDonald, Jr.; her grandchildren, Anthony, Wyatt, Garrett, Kiersten, Braylin, and Kolton; and her great-grandchildren, Adisyn, Aidyn, Alydia, Adilyn, Myla, and Ella.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles E. Walton and Dennis Ritter; her parents, Woodrow McDonald and Lucille (Hays) McDonald; three brothers, Raymond McDonald, Robert McDonald, and Phillip McDonald; and three sisters, Alberta Johnson, Betty Lou Kent, and Sandra DeClue.
Joyce enjoyed traveling, spending time outdoors, tending to flowers, watching hummingbirds, and most of all being with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM.
A funeral service will be held at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
