Joyce Yax Obituary
She was born February 11, 1954 in Marlette to Leonard and Jane (Darling) Wood. Joyce was a graduate of Mayville High School with the Class of 1972. She retired from Valasic and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 334 in North Oakland County. Joyce loved her family, especially her grand children. She enjoyed baking cookies and pies for her family. Joyce will be dearly missed.
Joyce is survived by her children, Clarance (Ann) Colling, Robert Colling and Christopher (Shannon) Colling; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Jenny (Frank) Kesler, Roberta Salisbury, Christina Lodbell, Cindy Wood, Mark Wood, Ruth (Paul) Becht, Raymond (Linda) Wood and Deborah (Marty) Kubacki.
She was preceded in death by her husband, DonYax; parents, Leonard and Jane Wood; son, Joseph Colling and grand daughter, Tarlynn.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 PM on October 25, 2025 at the Veterans Pavilion, 2060 E Ohmer Rd, Mayville.
