Juan Carlos was a true warrior, always wearing a smile no matter the circumstances. He was an active and joyful little boy who filled every day with energy and love. From the moment he woke up, he would start kicking and clapping, bringing light to everyone around him.

Juan had a special bond with me; he was deeply attached and always wanted to be close. Whether I was holding him, lying beside him, or simply nearby, he made sure to keep me within his sight. If someone else held him, Juan’s watchful eyes would follow me until I returned to his side. He was a smart and observant boy, with a personality that lit up our home. His happiest moments were when we were at home together. As soon as we walked through the door, his joy was unmistakable. I’d lay him in bed, and he’d beam with happiness—rolling over, kicking, clapping, sitting up, and even trying to take off his clothes. Watching him in those moments filled my heart with pure joy. The memories we shared are treasures I will hold close forever. Though he is no longer with us, I know Juan Carlos is now an angel watching over us, bringing his light to a better place. You will always be loved and remembered, my sweet angel, Juan Carlos.

A celebration of Juan Carlos’s life will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc., 3532 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Family and friends are invited to the viewing at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow. May his gentle spirit rest in peace.
