In loving memory of Juan “Teodulo” Hernandez Brito.
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Juan “Teodulo” Hernandez Brito, born February 17, 1951, and who passed on December 16, 2025. He was a loving family man full of life and laughter.
Juan was born in a pueblo named El Paradero near Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He most recently resided in Odessa, Texas. He worked in the oil field for many years before retiring in Odessa. Juan enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. His hobbies included reading the Thrifty Nickel and singing his favorite songs from Don Vicente Fernandez. He also loved watching the Antiques Roadshow as he was an avid coin collector.
Juan is predeceased by his parents Juan and Santos Hernandez; 2 brothers Efren Hernandez, Aurelio Hernandez and one sister, Geronima “Sofia” Hernandez.
He is survived by his loving wife Eduwijes “Vicky” Hernandez; four children two sons in law and one daughter in law; Laura Diaz and husband Jhonnatan Diaz, Joel Hernandez and wife Julia Overly Hernandez, Lucy Hernandez and wife of the favorite son in law Juan Pablo Bustillos, and Jessica Hernandez. He is also survived by his grandchildren Elizabeth Rocha, Arturo Rocha, Josue Rocha, Rachel Rocha and fiancé Mario Salazar, Jacob Hernandez, Anthony Bujanda, Jacqueline Bujanda, Marcus Bustillos, Alessandra Bustillos, John Nathan Hernandez, and Alexa Hernandez. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Ian Emmanuel Rocha, Mia Rivera, and Ketzáli Amara Salazar. He is also survived by one brother, six sisters, and various nieces and nephews.
