Juana García Mendoza was a woman whose strength, warmth, and deep devotion to her family and faith defined her life. She entered eternal rest on May 27, 2025, surrounded by love at her home, where she lived with her children. She is survived by her beloved children: Rigoberto, Hortencia, Rosario, Alicia, Veronica, Leticia, Gustavo, Monica, Rosaura, Alfredo, Armando, and Octavio. She was preceded in death by her husband Francisco Juarez, her eldest son (also named Francisco), and her infant daughter. Countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren now mourn the loss of their beloved abuelita, Juana. Married at a young age to the love of her life, Juana raised 14 children in Los Reyes La Paz, Estado de México. Despite a humble life, she was resilient and poured her heart into raising her family with strong values and deep faith. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the delicious aroma of home-cooked meals. She enjoyed making kefir from scratch, tending to her garden at the entrance patio, and walking to the tianguis and mercado-habits that helped her remain strong well into old age. After her husband passed away, Juana moved to Texas to be with her children in Dallas. She spent her final years visiting each of her children's homes, witnessing the beautiful families they built and playing the joyful role of grandmother to many. She had a witty sense of humor and was full of life and wisdom-sharing funny sayings, stories, and laughter even in her final days. Juana never complained. She was strong, godly, and dignified, always honoring the memory of her husband and the life they shared in Mexico. She lived each day with purpose, guided by unwavering faith and unconditional love for her family. Her legacy is one of devotion-putting God and family first, always.
