Juana Roman, 85, of Davenport, Iowa, died Monday, August 5, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society, Davenport.
Private services will be held at Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, with burial at Oakdale Memorial Gardens at a later date
The former Juana Martinez was born April 16, 1939, in Harlingen, Texas, the daughter of Maria Cortinez and Sostenes Martinez.
Juana enjoyed watching television, going on long walks, and listening to Spanish music. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Juana is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Juanita Roman and Darryl Childers of Davenport; 9 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Alyssa Martinez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Moses Roman, Sr.; and children, Ricardo Roman, Peggy Roman, and Moses Roman, Jr.
