Aiken – Mr. Juandail Kirby, 70, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023.
Juandail was born in Conway, SC, son of the late Earl and Ruth Vereen Kirby. He was a supervisor in the Rigging and Crane division at the Savannah River Site. He was a Mason, and enjoyed the lake and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Willis Kirby; daughter, Elizabeth Kirby, Aiken; son, Scott (Holly) Kirby, Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Wyatt, Levon, Cooper, Henry, and Jackson Kirby; sisters, Ruby Oneal, Griffin, GA, Brenda Kirby, Bamberg, SC, Fawn El Kirby, Bamberg, SC; brothers, Donald Kirby, Bamberg, SC, Wendell Kirby, Orangeburg, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; and his four-legged companion, Nugget.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Levon Kirby, Lenwood Kirby, Wayne Kirby, and Wanda Sue Spires.
A visitation will be held beginning at 12 Noon, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, and the funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Allen Edmundson, Chris Lovern, Bill Ferguson, Jerry Sims, Neil Huff, and Bryan Edington. Honorary pallbearer will be Terry Givens.
