Juanita A Barnett

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Juanita Ann Barnett, a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, who passed away on 8 March 2026 at the age of 65 in Temecula, California. Born on 25 June 1960 in Philadelphia to Gilbert and Edith Richard, Juanita was known for her great sense of humor, her loving and caring nature, and for making sure everyone who entered her home felt welcome and left with a full stomach. She worked as a cook for 20 years. Juanita was passionate about crocheting, baking, cooking, and her granddaughter, Samara.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Barnett; children, Brandon and Tramaine Barnett; granddaughter Samara; and siblings Heddy Richard, Maggy Hutchinson, Marie-Josée Morin, Harry Richard, Hebbe Richard, Fritz Richard, and Rick Richard. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Edith Richard, and siblings Frantz Richard, Myrtha Richard, Bernadette Germain, Jean-Baptiste Richard, and Nicole Reyes.

A celebration of life service will be held on 17 March 2026 at 10:30 AM at the England Family Mortuary 27135 Madison Ave, Temecula, CA 92590. Juanita will be laid to rest at 1:45 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside CA, 92518.
