Juanita Martinez Garcia, age 76, of Menard, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her residence in Menard. Juanita was born on April 4, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, to Juan C. Martinez and Simona (Martinez) Martinez. She grew up in San Antonio and worked as a private duty care giver for many years. She lived in San Antonio for several years and moved to Menard in 2021. She enjoyed listening to Tejano music and taking care of her flowers and many plants. She also enjoyed collecting chicken and rooster art and mementos.

Graveside services for Juanita Martinez Garcia will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Garden of Memories in Menard with Pastor David Nativdad officiating. Friends may view and/or sign Juanita's online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

Juanita is survived by her loving children; son Rudy Garcia of San Antonio, TX; daughters Betty Garcia of Menard, TX, Barbara Zamora and husband Robert of San Antonio, TX, and Ruby Ann Garcia of San Antonio, TX; brother Juan Manuel Martinez of San Antonio, TX; sisters Kate Cruz of Castroville, Texas, Tomasa Garcia of Michigan, and Linda Garcia of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren Johnathan R. Rodriguez, Paula J. Zamarripa, Robert Zamora, Jr., Angel M. Garcia, Domingo Bernal, Savannah A. Zamora, Joseph A. Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Jr., Jaden T. Garcia and Ethan, J. Garcia; 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Anna Chavira.
