Juanita Luna

Juanita Luna, 91, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, March 27, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rodolfo Israel Luna; her son, Samuel Luna; her parents, Juan Jose Ballesteros and Olivia Juarez; her siblings, Alfredo Ballesteros, Gerardo Ballesteros, Juan Jose Ballesteros, and Beatriz Valdez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cynthia (Michael) Buitron, Rodolfo (Rosita) Luna, Jr., Elizabeth Luna, Deborah Perez, and Jose Alberto (Jacklyn) Luna; her grandchildren, Vanessa Luna, Sammy Luna, Jr., Michael Alexander Luna, Fidel Perez, III., and Israel Perez; her great-granddaughter, Luna Rae Martinez; her siblings, Ricardo Ballesteros, and Lupita (Leeroy Sr.) McAllister; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, April 1, 2026 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, April 2, 2026 where a Chapel Service will commence at 10 a.m. at Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jose Luna, Rodolfo Luna, Jr., Israel Perez, Fernando Perez, Michael Buitron, and Bobby Santos.
