Juanita M. Sutton, 85, of Fort Wayne died peacefully Wednesday, July 22 at Dupont Hospital. Born May 18, 1924 in Antwerp, Ohio to Adrian and Goldie (Ruppert) Jump, she married James A. Sutton on April 19, 1942. They celebrated 63 years together before his death in May of 2005. She resided at Sunrise Assisted Living since 2005 where she received tender loving care from staff that treated her like family. Juanita moved to Dayton, Ohio and worked for Chrysler Air Temp while her husband served in World War II. After the war, she returned to Fort Wayne to raise their family. In later years, she worked as a presser at Alron Dry Cleaners. She was a wonderful homemaker and spent countless hours on the Jump family farm in Auburn, Indiana where she worked, played, and celebrated holidays with her family. She will be remembered for her generous heart, honesty, care, and thoughtfulness to those she loved. She is survived by her son, David (Mary) Sutton of Richmond, KY; daughters, Peggy Dunn of Akron, OH, Susan (James) Reams of New Haven, Candace (Skyler) De Camp of Grabill, and Beth (Daniel) White of Fort Wayne; 11grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard W. Jump of Auburn, and James (Doreen) Jump of New Haven. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Sutton; and parents, Adrian B. and Goldie A. Jump. Funeral is 10 a.m. Monday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior to service, Pastor Forrest VanGundy officiating. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
