Juanita M. White

1927 - 2021

After 94 years of a good life, Juanita died on August 19, 2021. She was the third daughter born to Daniel and Minnie O'Brien. Her education included David Hill Elementary School, Garfield High School where she was a majorette, and The University of Akron where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She taught at Green and Tallmadge High Schools. At the University, she met and married Jim White. She dearly loved her family which includes sons, Gary and Jeff (Lynn); grandsons, Matthew (Casey), Brian (Tracey) and great granddaughter, Alexis Mae. When daughter, Nanci, married son-in-law, Mike Whittaker, our family grew to Eric, Jenna, Alexa, Isabella Whittaker, Brenda, Chad, Hayley, C.J. Conaway, Rachel, Brandon, Anabelle, Mason, and Ryan Smith; sister, Lou Anna (Milton) Mayhew and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Juanita in death was sister, Kathryn (Bill) and son, Daniel Burket, sister, Betty (Jack) and son, Jim Brown. Juanita was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Chapter BK of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Family memorial services will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
