Judith Ann Ballou, a beloved family member and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado, at the age of 66. Born on December 1, 1959, in Tustin, California, Judy was a vibrant soul whose passion for life and commitment to those she loved left a mark on all who  knew and loved her.

Judy's academic journey culminated in a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Mid America Nazarene College. She dedicated many years to her career as a National and International Contract Manager, eventually achieving the esteemed position of Senior Director at Avaya. Judy's professional life was not just about climbing the corporate ladder; she also served as a fellow for the National Contract Management Association, showcasing her dedication to her field and her continuous desire for excellence.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Judy was truly a remarkable individual. Known for her beautiful smile and sharp wit, she brought joy and laughter into every room. Intelligent, down-to-earth, and generous, she made those around her feel valued and loved. Judy had a special way of remembering birthdays and celebrating life’s milestones, and she adored the holidays, especially Christmas, when the world seemed to sparkle with joy and togetherness. The simple pleasures in life brought her great happiness, whether it was enjoying ice cream with a diet Pepsi in hand or cheering for the Denver Nuggets. Judy embraced every moment!

Her passions extended beyond the ordinary. Judy found joy in ceramics, scrapbooking, and exploring her family heritage through genealogy. She was a social butterfly, relishing the opportunity to connect with friends and family. The bonds she formed were a testament to her loving nature and generosity.

Judy's faith was an integral part of her life. She loved the Lord and was actively involved in the Church of Nazarene, where she contributed spiritually by being in staff ministry, teaching Sunday school classes and writing two devotional books that touched the lives of many. Her love for her dog, Lola, added another layer of warmth to her character and provided her companionship throughout her life.

Judy is survived by her close family members, including her cousins, Steven Bradbury and Chuck (Julie) Bradbury, and their children, Erin, Eric, and Elissa. She will be remembered with deep affection by a host of many friends, each carrying cherished memories of laughter, support, and shared moments.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Wilbur (Butch) and Mayme Lee Doyle, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms.

Judith Ann Ballou’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Her spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we celebrate her life, we remember a woman who exemplified what it meant to truly live and love deeply.
