Obituary of Judith Ann Berlinger

Judith Ann Berlinger, 79, of Greenwood Village, Colorado, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025. She was born on February 1, 1946, in Colorado to Hal Jennings and Bertha Schleichert.

Judith graduated from George Washington High School and earned her BA in Drama from Colorado State University. She married and had children, Anthony and Christina. The family lived in Southern California, Omaha, Nebraska, and Utah before returning to Colorado in 1980.

A pioneer in technology, Judith studied computer science at the University of Denver and built a distinguished career as a systems administrator and senior executive. She later earned her master's degree in psychology from Lesley College.

Judith was an active member of Temple Emanuel, where she formed deep friendships within the community. In 1998, she met Donald Handler, her beloved partner and the love of her life.

Judith was a juried artist, exhibiting her work in oils, acrylics, and photography throughout the region. Her pieces were critically reviewed and sought after by collectors. In her later years, she enjoyed gardening, playing mahjong, spending time with her grandchildren, and relaxing on her patio with her beloved cat, Puddin.

Judith is survived by her son Anthony, grandchildren Orion, Nicholas, and Giana, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina; her partner, Donald; her parents, Hal Jennings and Bertha Schleichert; and her siblings Janet, Philip, and David.

Funeral services will be held at Temple Emanuel on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at 2:15 PM.

The family will sit shiva following the service at 4601 S. Balsam Way, #1538, with visiting hours from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Judith A. Berlinger Revocable Trust, c/o Budman Law, 5105 DTC Parkway, Suite 150, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.

May her memory be a blessing.
