Judith M Blais

WORCESTER - Judith M. "Judy" (Aquino) Blais, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024, at UMass Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her devoted family.
Born in Worcester, Judith was the cherished daughter of the late John and Amelia (Razzano) Aquino. A proud graduate of Commerce High School, Judith found joy and purpose as a homemaker and cherished her role as a grandmother. Her life was beautifully enriched by her 51-year marriage to André "Andy" C. Blais, who predeceased her in 2019.
Judith was deeply committed to her community, dedicating her time to volunteering at Pernet Family Health Services. Her greatest pride and joy were her family, and she delighted in every moment spent with them.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jeannine M. Fitzgerald and her husband, David of Worcester; her son, Paul A. Blais of Sturbridge; and her three grandchildren, Erin, Colin, and Quinlan Fitzgerald and his wife Gianna. Judith is also survived by her brothers, John J. Aquino and Philip A. Aquino, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara M. White, Louise M. Andrews, and Antoinette T. Murphy.
At the family's request, all services will be held privately.
Judith's kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and dedication to her family and community will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
