It was a major shock to me, losing my new "coffee mate" and very dear "soul sister" on Christmas morning. And true sadness that I was on a previously planned vacation with my family and couldn't attend her burial service.
Now there is a big hole in my heart where she resided and we talked and visited and swapped family anecdotes. She was a truly loving, caring Grandmom and Mom. She shared so many pictures and videos of her family, of whom she was so very proud. She loved her family farm heritage and collected various pieces of equipment to display along the fence of her beautiful backyard, which carried so many memories of her husband. And the antiques with which she decorated her home so masterfully were her fun. As also were the several vignettes she created in her basement with family pictures and other mementos. She'd been a quilter, I heard, and really enjoyed checking in on the quilters at the Senior Center. She was so very gracious and accommodating, and always impressive in her beautifully color matched ensembles and beautifully coiffed hair.
I'd like to thank her son-in-law Doug for the live notifications of her passing. It meant so much to me to hear immediately of her journey into her loving Savior's arms; she was always ready with a prayer for anything that happened and a true inspiration to me to always have the name of Jesus at the ready. I miss her very much.

Spending weeks in the hospital with Grandma Judy as her husband my grandpa Dennis under went Brain surgery at St. Mary's hospital in Madison, WI. I was learning and studying to be a CNA at this time in 2009! And I credit them for me becoming so skilled in the trade because grandpa had a rough recovery and the CNA weren't the best and I promised my grandparents I would never be like those CNAs! A big thanks to Grandma for always being so loving and charismatic to my grandpa and having a love everlasting for him! I'll love you always grandma Judy and thank you for coming to see me after my emergency C-section Dec 15th and the birth of your step-grandchild Audriana while still being hospitalized! I'll always cherish that and keep it near and dear in my heart because you made a point to come visit us!! Rest peacefully grandma Judy!!
All our love Mary & Audriana <3
