Judith Ruth Burhans age 77, of Park Falls, died on Wednesday July 30, 2025, at The Waterford in Park Falls. She was born on July 18, 1948, in Park Falls, the daughter of Anthony and Ruth (Walker) Kundinger. Ruth was a graduate of Park Falls High School. On May 4, 1968, she married Timothy Burhans who preceded her in death in 1991. Ruth earned a certificate in Dietary Management from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and worked as a dietary manager for Park Manor Nursing Home. Over the years Ruth also worked for Weber Printing, Butternut Veneer Mill, and Supportive Home Health. She was very active with St. Anthony's Parish and volunteered in many capacities. Ruth loved traveling to Florida and seeing the palm trees, camping, fishing, playing cards and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Ruth's family would like to thank Susie Heisler and Linda Fuhrman for all of their help, love and support, along with the nurses and staff of St. Croix Hospice and The Waterford. She is survived by her (3) children: Penny (Dave) Russell of Green Bay, Wendy (Tim) Shoen of Warroad, MN, and Brent (Wanda) Burhans of Park Falls, (4) grandchildren: Larry Wetzel, Lindsey (Ryan) Carr, Leah (Josh) Hazzard and Jett Shoen. Her brother Larry Kundinger of Park Falls, Dave Wagner's children and family, and many nieces and nephews, She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tim, her special friend Dave Wagner, her brothers: Daniel, Anthony, David, Ben, and Eugene Kundinger, and sisters: Lois Fuhrman, Verna Behreandt, Gladys Rienow, Eleanor Schantzen, and Dorothy Christianson. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony's on Saturday August 9, 2025, at 11:00am. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara will officiate. Interment at Nola Cemetery will follow. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of the service. Birch Street Funeral Service is assisting the family. www.birchstreetfuneralservice.com
