Judith V. Califano, known by all as Judy, age 85, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted servant of the Lord, entered the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ on September 29, 2025.

Her life was a living testimony of God's love and grace. Judy was passionate about her garden and the beauty of God's creation, always seeing reminders of His handiwork in every flower and tree. More than anything, she delighted in sharing her faith in Jesus with others. She was a prayer warrior, an encourager, and a defender of the weak-always ready to listen with compassion, lift others in prayer, and speak words of life and hope rooted in God's Word.

She shared 64 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Gerard, walking side by side in faith and love. Together they raised three children: daughter Christi Muraida and her husband Mark, along with their son Tyler of Pembroke Pines, FL; son Gerry and his wife Judi, with their children Caleb of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Shaina of Coral Springs, FL; and daughter Maria of Highlands, NC, who lovingly cared for Judy in her final years.

Many people, whether it be friends of her children or children in the neighborhood, considered her as a mother figure, as she loved them as her own.

Her legacy is not only in the family who loved her dearly, but also in the many lives she touched through her prayers, encouragement, and steadfast trust in the Lord. Judy held close the promise of Romans 8:28.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
