Judith Coppernoll Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DeFord Funeral Home - Grangeville on Feb. 5, 2026.
On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Judith Alice Coppernoll, age 87, left us to be with Jesus Christ for all eternity.

Judy was born in Grangeville, Idaho on December 26, 1938 to Paul and Nellie Warden. She married Wesley Deal Coppernoll on December 22, 1956. Together they had six children: Sherry Riener, Keith Coppernoll (Aleta), Abbie Tiede (Scott), Jerry Coppernoll (Kim), Carol Sager (Jan) and Bonnie Coppernoll.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wes, son Keith, and daughter Bonnie.

Judy had many grandchildren and great grandchildren and was lovingly known as "Grandma Judy" to her church family where she attended at Grace Pentecostal Church of Lewiston.

True to the scripture found in Ecclesiastes 7:1, the day of Judy's death was better than the day of her birth because the greatest desire of her heart was nearness to Christ who redeemed her with his own precious blood. She delighted herself in the Lord! Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38), she enjoyed attending church more than anything else. As she neared the end of her life, she often expressed her deep longing for all of her family and loved ones to come to Christ and be saved.

Judy was privately buried next to her husband Wesley at Cottonwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the DeFord Funeral Home, Grangeville. Send condolences to the family at defordfh.com.
