Judith Rae Craigmiles, 90, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away February 9th, 2026. She was born October 7th, 1935, in Indianapolis to parents Walter and Madonna (Miller) Sutphin.
As a young woman, Judith met the love of her life James “Jim” Craigmiles. They shared many wonderful years together. Jim passed away in 1992.

She spent as much time with family as she could. Judith was an excellent cook, and a fierce Euchre player. She enjoyed sitting on her porch swing, soaking up the sunshine, always accompanied by her beloved dogs.
Judith is survived by her children Jimmy (Sue) Craigmiles, Lisa (Dave) DePew, Richard “Richie” Cooley, and Steven (Cassandra) Craigmiles;
grandchildren Vanessa Carlen, Cody (Paige) Poynter, Christine and Yvette Cooley, Marissa (Jeff) Whitlock, and James (Taylor) Craigmiles;
great-grandchildren Mora Carlen, Claire and Chloe Poynter, Eden and Emmett Cooley, Flynn and Jasper Craigmiles and Cambria and Piper Whitlock; her loving friend Donna Williams and her son Dylan Williams; and her beloved dog Nikki.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jim Craigmiles; and her siblings.
She will be laid to rest privately at Washington Park East Cemetery next to her late husband.
